My name is Francisco Pérez. I am a Computer Engineer of the Catholic University of Chile. I work as a Software Engineer at EFT Group as part of the Innovation team, where we develop back end solutions for electronic payments and money transfering.
Before, I worked as an R&D Engineer at the Synopsys R&D centre in Santiago as part of the team developing Power Compiler, a software for integrated circuit power optimisation, so one can design an integrated circuit that uses less power/energy.
Until May 2008 I worked in Cursor, a mobile services integrator (basically software development for any service that has something to do with mobile telephony).
Starting from March 2008 I am also the professor of the Compilers Construction course in the Computer Science Department of the Engineering School of the Catholic University of Chile. This course is dictated only on the first semester of every year.
